WHAT LURKS IN THE WOODS
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
You are a woodsbird.
An odd darkness lurks near your home. You must investigate the source and restore the peace in your forest.

Controls:
WASD to move.
Space to dodge.
Left-click and Right-click to attack.
Right-click to catch a projectile.
Having a stored projectile makes you deal 50% more damage.
5 minutes of gameplay.

This was our very first game jam and the optional theme was "light."
We had about two weeks to create this game.
We had more mechanics involving the theme but due to time restrictions we ended up scrapping most of the ideas.
Overall it was a very fun learning experience and we will be looking forward to participating in other game jams!
We may update the game later and also have a web version when Godot 4 starts
supporting C# for web exports.

Known bugs:
- Slight lag during first monsters' attacks
- Mac build will crash on M1 due to a known GPUParticles issue in Godot.
